Anonymous Philippines defaces gov site: “Soon, November 5 2013”

It appears, the anonymous hacking collective in Philippines are preparing something big as they are giving ‘somewhat’ a warning to the (assumed) government of Philippines.

The official government website of Tabuk, a City in Kalinga province is being targeted. A new rotating golden logo of Anonymous Philippines can be seen in the site’s homepage now. Along with a text that reads, “Soon, November 5 2013” and an mp3 that plays automatically – “Freedom.”

That exact date is said to be the annual commemoration  of “Guy Fawkes Day,” made popular by the hacking collective “anonymous”. It is also the same day set by activists and hacktivists to gather and protest against the Philippine government dubbed as “Million Mask March.”
