Anonymous Philippines disrupts Government websites, Day 2

Day two of its hacktivism, the hacker collective ‘anonymous’ tries to disrupt some Philippine government websites.

Targeted websites are of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas(bsp.gov.ph), Criminal Investigation and Detection Group(cidg.gov.ph), Congress(congress.gov.ph), Bureau of Customs(customs.gov.ph), Department of Budget and Management (dbm.gov.ph), Department of the Interior and Local Government(dilg.gov.ph), The official website of Juan Ponce Enrile ( juanponceenrile.com), iGovPhil (i.gov.ph), Official website of Jinggoy(senjinggoyestrada.com) and the website of the Philippine National Police(pnp.gov.ph).

The hackers are trying to take down those websites through Denial of Service (DDOS) attacks. Here is a paste we provided where booters are being set up by the hackers.

At the time of writing, there are still no websites that remains inaccessible. One  to 3 websites mentioned  goes down for several minutes but managed to keep up after.

The hacking is still part of the Million Mask March where the aim is to take down as many important cyber infrastructure from the Philippine government.

Yesterday, we have seen the same hacktivists who hacked and defaced more than 40 government and several other commercial websites.
