Another hosting and web development company in Philippines compromised – ManilaHost.net

This is the third time a company that offers hosting services affected by hackers this month alone. A week ago, iManila was attacked by hackers where it appeared WHCMS was hacked while domainhosting.ph was completely defaced by ‘khalifax.’

This time, ManilaHost.net is the target of the hackers who successfully hacked into the websites blog post.

In a conversation, the hacker (z0mb13) told us, the said website is vulnerable to ‘symlink’ attack where it allows him to reset the user credentials of the manila host blog user.

Z0mb13 wrote in the first line of his message that they “share the collective idea of ANONYMOUS; we are the people.”

The message that followed pointed out, Philippines has been controlled by a corrupt government and what is happening today is a form of slavery and it removed our freedom.

Moreover, the hackers threaten to continue related attacks changing the government one step at a time.

The message is still displayed in the website.
