Anti-Muslim hackers defaced the website of Russian Muftis Council yesterday

Russian hackers who are “Anti-Muslims” defaced the official website of Council of Russian Muftis(muslim.ru) yesterday.

The hacking was launched the same day, the Muslims were celebrating “Eid al-Adha” or Feast of the Sacrifice, one of their major festivals.

The website is down for now but the defacement can be still be viewed using “Google Cache.”

It displayed a head of a pig with “Quran” in its mouth with message that reads – translated:

“Welcome Muslims. Appeal to you, residents of Moscow. You are already in a jam. We are well aware that the pig is a dirty animal for you, so here’s a pig with the Quran in its mouth. Now, your domain name is profaned, and you cannot keep your website here anymore. Soon we will bury pigs in all your mosques. Happy holidays.”
