Apple confirms hack on its Developer website

One day after the developer website of apple is being taken down, thehackernews reported the incident that the website may have been compromised.

Just a few hours ago, 3 days after being taken offline, Apple announcement confirms its developer website is certainly hacked.

It also confirms the possibility that some developers’ names, mailing addresses, and/or email addresses may have been stolen but refused to say that any sensitive information is accessed.

Sensitive personal information was encrypted and cannot be accessed, however, we have not been able to rule out the possibility that some developers’ names, mailing addresses, and/or email addresses may have been accessed.

A little odd, an individual claiming to be a security researcher,İbrahim BALİÇ, told in a video, that he is indeed the culprit. Apple accordingly accused him of hacking the software developer website, when he reported bugs.

He added, the bug in the apple developer website could lead to a leak of more than a 100 thousand user information but he chose not to. Watch the video above.
