ATM Skimmer arrested, alleged member of PSG, PMA class 2008, Philippine Navy

A skimmer has been arrested by Makati police Friday night, caught on action while withdrawing money using a cloned ATM card around 11:30pm.

The suspect is allegedly an active member of the Presidential Security Group (PSG),  of Philippine Military Academy (PMA) ” Baghawi” Class of 2008 and also of the Philippine Navy with serial number 0-15573.

Police report says, the suspect was identified as Raphael Malacay Marcial, of 217 Manga St., Barangay West Rembo.

According to Makati Police Station chief Sr. Supt. Manuel Lucban,  while his men were patrolling the area, they saw a motorcycle with a covered plate number, parked in front of East West’s ATM station.

Seized from the suspect were 11 cloned ATM cards issued by different banks.

The skimmer  is detained in the Makati Police headquarters, will be charged with violation of Republic Act 8484 or the E-Commerce Law.
