This is an update of our first news report early morning, Anonymous Philippines disrupts Government websites

Hackers with ties to the hacker collective -anonymous has also targeted DNS.gov.ph and gov.ph where currently seems to be down, displaying “Error 502 Connection Timed Out – Cloudflare.”

They also claim to have taken down 90% of the government websites as those are hosted along with dns.gov. ph and gov.ph server(202.90.158.6).

90% of Gov sites as they claim

I have checked the Office of the Vice President website (ovp.gov.ph), Land Transportation Office (lto.gov.ph) and of iGovPhil (i.gov.ph), those appear to be down.

The hackers threaten this attack will continue within the day as more supporters of the collective are joining the operation.

Yesterday, we have seen the same hacktivists who defaced more than 40 government and several other commercial websites and pages.
