Facebook ends their bug bounty program

It’s been a while since Facebook started awarding people who report bugs and vulnerabilities on their platform. They already paid out about $1.3 million in 2014 only. Philippines was also the fifth contributor earning a total of $29,500 for 27 bugs.

But in their recent post, they stated that the bug bounty program has ended.

Meanwhile, they opened another program where users can still report bugs and vulnerabilities, but without bounty, just ‘Hall of Fame’.
