PayJunction confirms hack on one of its system

PayJunction has recently been aware of hack to a data backup  of an internal business system affecting its sales agents. But the company clarified, that particular system did not store any cardholder data.

What may have been compromised are sales agents names, Social Security numbers, and bank account numbers.

“We are making every improvement necessary to ensure that this type of data loss does not occur in the future.  We value the relationships we have built with our sales agents over the last decade, you are the foundation of our success, and we will continue to take steps to remedy this issue,” stated and was signed by the president of PayJunction, Randy Moros.

For now, the company is offering free credit monitoring with AllClear ID, although Modos notes that they have no evidence to suggest any information has been misused.
