Road sign hacked, new display said “Snowden is a Hero”

USA – Edward Snowden is the NSA whistle blower who leaked classified documents to local and international reporters.

In the moment while he is granted asylum in Russia and Obama wants trial for him in US, an interesting hacking incident in Colorado occured. An electronic, portable road sign has been hacked and the display is changed to “SNOWDEN IS A HERO.”

Nancy Shanks, Colorado Department of Transportation spokeswoman says the time stamp of the photo indicates the message was up for at least 23 hours according to seattlepi. And a colleague turned off the sign Wednesday.

Shanks added, most probably, somebody left the signed unlocked which lets anyone with knowledge to change the message.
